Welcome to the Falling Rock. Your gateway to the upper Mississippi river. We are located 10 miles north of Prairie du Chien, WI. For good times,GREAT food and the latest fishing information fo pools 9 & 10. We also carry a good supply of tackle and live bait for the local area. Hubbards Fishing Float is located just below dam #9, with a pick-up point at Gordens Bay Landing located directly across the street. For you fisherman without a boat this float provides true fishing right on the Mississippi. Whether you have a boat or not, a fisherman or a camper, or just looking for a great time THE FALLING ROCK is your place to be!!!	This area is known for its great walleye and sauger fishing. The best times to catch the eyes and sauger are from mid october thru mid may. There have been years that the launches will be useable throughout the whole year. In the event that they do freeze up the panfishing is good throughtout out the area. Many back water support good numbers of bluegill, bass, crappie and pearch.
FISHING REPORT Water is high, about 9ft4 when checked on MON. OCT. 9. Walleye are hitting on one eyes along the long wall with some hitting on yhe break walls. Perch and nice sized crappie being taken with crawlers and small minnows at the point of the guide wall. Blue gills about 8-10 inches being taken at Colld Springs on waxies, crawlers, and redworms.
